About Me

My name is Ben Stooke, I am an Industrial Designer and Product Visualizer from Ottawa, ON, Canada. I am currently working at Giatec Scientific Inc as an Industrial Designer, and doing Freelance/Visualization in my free time.

I am a Carleton University graduate of Industrial Design. I have taken a broad range of classes to learn about many different fields and become more proficient at communicating. I'm interested in many different strands of design. I like exploring different design ideas and often browsing the internet for new design inspiration.

In my free time I read books about business, workflow, and self improvement. I also enjoy messing around in different programs (Illustrator, Photoshop, After Effects, Solidworks, Cinema4D, Octane, Keyshot, etc.) to learn more about them.

Worked as a Contract Industrial Designer from July 2018 to June 2019. Focused on completing any design tasks and leading projects specializing in Product Visualization. Promoted from position as intern (September 2017 to July 2018).

Doing Freelance Work and Visualizer. Majority of work focused around product and packaging visualization but product categories are vast and even include extreme sports equipment.
